Hi! I’m Cat! As a PMHNP-BC, I offer comprehensive mental health services, including medication management from a holistic, personalized approach.
If you’re here, chances are you’re ready to explore some deeper healing, and I’m here to guide you through the adventure. If you’re seeking that holistic approach to mental health care, I can help you navigate your journey with personalized psychiatric services focused on medication management, therapy, and overall well-being.
I’m the kind of person who believes that pain has purpose, and it’s primary purpose is so simple we often ignore it — to let us know that we’re hurting. Let’s work together to develop a treatment plan that supports both your mental and physical health for lasting, positive change.
Not sure if we would be a good fit? I offer free 15-minute consultations!
So, what can you expect here? For one, I’m all about an integrative, whole-person approach. That means we’re not just tackling symptoms—we’re exploring how all the pieces of your physical, mental, and emotional health fit together. I’m a PMHNP-BC, and if you want to be get real specific, you could lump in all my titles and go with MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC… but that’s a mouthful). Through my training, I’ve sharpened my skills in assessment, diagnosis, therapeutic communication, crisis intervention, and managing psychiatric conditions. I’ve also had the opportunity to work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that patients receive comprehensive, holistic care. No, I won’t be reading your mind or solving all your problems with a magic wand (believe me, I’d be the first to order one if they existed), but I will stand in support and offer you high-quality healthcare and a whole lot of empathy.
I speak English and Polish.

What I Do
Mental health is a journey—sometimes bumpy, sometimes surprising, but always worth it. I’ll be right there with you as we dig deep, whether we’re working through anxiety, managing ADHD, or supporting your inner child (or your literal one, if you’re a parent looking for mental health support for your child). And yes, I take my holistic approach seriously—mind, body, spirit, and all—but don’t worry, you won’t find any crystals or chanting here (unless that’s your thing).
If you’re ready to feel seen, supported, and maybe even laugh along the way, I’m here for it. Healing isn’t easy, but with a little humor, a lot of heart, and a truly nonjudgmental ear, we’ll find our way through. And, as I like to say, “You’re so much more than your symptoms.” Let’s get started on making you feel whole again—one authentic, down-to-earth session at a time.
FYI – you’re likely to meet my service dog, Doris. She’s a quiet comforting presence who’s there to help me, but clients find her pretty soothing, too. While she’s not an official part of your care, she’s usually by my side, adding a little extra calm to the room.
Education & Training
I bring 25 years of nursing experience to the table—starting with caring for chronically ill kids in Canada to tackling emergency rooms and mental health units in Texas. I eventually earned my master’s in psychiatry from the University of Texas at Arlington because, well, I realized that mental health was where I could make the biggest difference.
With extensive experience across a variety of healthcare settings, I have developed a versatile skill set in both inpatient and outpatient care. My prior experience includes roles such as Charge Nurse on the Adolescent Unit at The Menninger Clinic, Nursing Supervisor at Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire, and staff positions across multiple units at UTMB Galveston and Harris County Hospital District. I’ve also gained valuable experience through mission trips to Indonesia and the Dominican Republic, where I worked in resource-limited environments, enhancing my adaptability and cross-cultural communication skills. Over the years, I’ve gained a lot of experience in different areas of healthcare, and mental health is where my true passion lies. As a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I’ve built a strong foundation in understanding mental health disorders, treatment approaches, and evidence-based interventions. In my practice, you’ll find a mix of down-to-earth honesty and genuine empathy.
Can I use my insurance?
Currently, I am self-pay only. I am happy to provide you a superbill that you can present to your insurance carrier for out-of-network reimbursement. This percentage varies by your insurance carrier but typically is around 50-70% reimbursement you can expect your insurance company to reimburse you directly for expenses paid for office visits.
I do accept HSA/FSA as forms of payment.
