Who I am:

Through my own experiences, I have seen how challenging and unpredictable life can be, but I believe we don’t have to face it alone. My role as your therapist is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment so you can feel truly seen and heard. With my empathic understanding and authenticity, we will build a strong therapeutic relationship that opens the door to meaningful exploration of your unique self.

Whether you’re facing challenges from past experiences, chronic stress, relationship issues, or just looking to grow, I see therapy as a special space where we can explore all these areas together. My focus is on wellness and resilience, and I hope each of my clients can find strength and growth through our work. Even though we can’t control everything in life, I truly believe that by understanding ourselves better and showing genuine care for each other, we can lead more fulfilling and purposeful lives.

I am a Texas native and proud Houstonian. I spend most weekends relaxing at home with my husband, son, dog, and two cats. Some of my hobbies include reading a good book and cooking for my family.

Who I Work With:

I enjoy working with adults at different stages of life from young adults and working professionals to parents and those in middle and later adulthood. I’m especially passionate about supporting women’s health and am here to assist various groups within this vibrant community whether it’s young women beginning their careers, women navigating prenatal and postpartum phases, or women in later adulthood experiencing important life transitions.

By exploring your cultural background, family of origin, lifestyle, and thought patterns together, we can create goals and treatment options that truly suit you. Reflecting on your interpersonal dynamics, coping styles, and personal values will allow you to gain a better understanding of yourself and feel more confident and comfortable as you engage with the world.

I enjoy working with individuals facing relationship issues, low self-esteem, lack of purpose, complex family dynamics, anxiety and depression.

I’m especially passionate about supporting women’s health!

Education & Training:

I earned my undergraduate degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in 2016. Now I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University with graduation expected in June 2027. I am fortunate to be supervised by Heather Mireles Murphy, LPC-S. Throughout my graduate studies, I have gained a solid foundation through the Family Institute at Northwestern University, which is CACREP-accredited and focuses on evidence-based practices, multicultural awareness, and reflective growth as a counselor.
