Working toward advanced licensure as LCSW, supervised by Kimberly Valdez, LCSW-S
I’ve dedicated my life to working with those who are suffering.
My expertise is working with trauma, victims of trafficking and crime, minority groups, substance abuse, eating disorders, family dynamics, trauma, gang violence and suicidal ideation. My ability to connect with individuals leads to profound change. Using evidence-based therapy approaches, I provide individual, group, and family therapy to adults, adolescents, and children (ages 10+).
What I do:
I work with a variety of issues including substance abuse, trauma, victims of trafficking and crime, eating disorders, family dynamics, anger management and suicidal ideation.
I’ve excelled at leading supportive services, groups with children and families, and individual counseling. I’ve served many at risk populations including minors, adolescents, and adults who have experienced severe trauma.
I use evidence-based therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Using these methods, I provide individual sessions, groups, and family therapy to further influence change in the lives of those I encounter.
